Our local ace has stihl. It's great for little things and convenient. I'm lucky to have a great local dealer. He sells stihl, Husqvarna and dolmar. He great to work with and has hundreds of parts saws. He's booked months ahead for work though. He tries to move loggers and stone guys ahead if he can. Just got a good deal on a NOS dolmar string trimmer he had around for a while.

I really do feel bad for all you guys with such crappy dealer support. Maybe you need to keep bugging corporate until things in your area change. I have yet to run into any bad dealers around me. Feed stores and John Deere dealers are all good. When it comes to servicing a dedicated saw shop is still best.
