Ive got an 039 that my dumptruck driver ran over with an excavator, so i just tossed the saw in my garage and we got a new 372xp :chainsaw: Ground was pretty soft so it just broke the bar and all the plastic crap on the saw, engine looks to be in good shape still. So the 029/290/310/039/390 are all the same saw except for the bores are different, correct?

If thats the case who has a complete but not running 029/290/310/039/390? I'll salvage this thing yet:greenchainsaw:

Yup, you can swap your saw's guts into another chassis. We had the same thing happen to a 290 earlier this year when clearing blowdowns - the bar stuck and the trunk rolled and crushed the saw into the ground. Found a burned up 039 with a good case/tanks/motor cradle, swapped the 290 motor into it. The resulting saw is still running strong.
