Rough? Sometimes I think that's an understatement. Take a look at this one:
It was a 36" bar. The logger was half way through bucking a 22" log with his MS661 when he ran out of fuel. He went to his truck to get the fuel can and left the saw in the log temporarily. When he turned around, the skid loader operator was backing up right next to the log and failed to see the bar sticking out and caught the nose of the bar with the wheel. Wham!
The chain was wrecked also. I really see no way of saving any of this. The bar was in rather god shape, so that's about $150 down the drain. I've seen some bent bars and mangled tips, but they don't get much worse than this.
