Looking for Old school 034 Front muffler cover

I have a old style 034 muffler cover that got hit by something. It's all twisted up. It is the front exhaust style. I am looking for a replacement one. What are my options? I read something about you can use the 036 ones with spacer but I am unsure. I am looking for an inexpensive fix. There are a million 034/036 aftermarkets ones on ebay but would appreciate the guidance. Its a charity (friend) job. Thank you.

I you use an 036 muffler you will need to use a spacer.

I think the one you are calling the side exhaust will need the spacer. Do you have a pic of it?
