MAC 10 10 Problem

My friend's Mac 10 10 starts up and cuts well for about 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes, it doesn't have any power. I put a new fuel filter on and cleaned the tank vent. This did not help as after 10 minutes, it returns to the no power situation.
Could this a coil problem?

For beginners, I'd immediately check for spark when the failure occurs.

Is it points and condensor or electronic.either way i would say its either the coil shorting when it gets hot or the condensor breaking down.
Also possible vapor lock.crack the gas cap and try again.

It is possible that it is just worn out and as it warms up the clearances increase and it runs out of steam.

"Cleaned the tank vent", the vent is rubber duck bill valve intended to hold pressure in the tank but prevent a vacuum. Try cracking the tank open while you run and see if that helps. If it does you will need to replace the duck bill valve to allow the tank to inhale.
