i am after an ignition coil for a double eagle 50 or ideas on what may work in it this saw is in brand new condition sat in shed for twenty years.

Post a pic of the coil as it is mounted on the saw (with the recoil removed) and tell me if it is points or electronic I am pretty sure the DE will accept many different coils
