I've pretty much concluded my Stihl collection of new and vintage. Looking to start on Macs next. Cp125 is on my list, which others should be? Would like a 2 man, other big ones, and worth while smaller. Top 5ish

Well, your really not done with Stihls until you have a 038. Specifically a Mag. Lol

Here are a few to look out for.

Model 49

Model 895 geardrive

Model SP105

Model 797

Model Super 797

Model Super 797G That Mcculloch never made.

Model SP125 everyones dream saw.
Nice collection! Some mean looking saws!

Though I have a few MACs, I don’t believe a MAC collection would be representative without a PM6A (the first of the small saws, well made and still competitive), a 10-10 of some variety, and a 70cc of some variety.

At one time, I was going to collect all of the American SPs of differing displacement - SP40, SP60, SP70, SP80-81E, SP105 and SP125-125C. I gave up on two counts: Twice I brought advertised SP105s that turned out to be SP125Cs. And as a user I didn’t see the point of SP 60 & 70 cc saws that weigh almost as much as a hot rod 82cc saw.

I have a SP60 and it is a good bit heavier than my pro Mac 10-10S and not that many more cc’s. I don’t use the SP60 very much for that reason. I always grab the 10-10s over it
