Looking at purchasing a 1429 M.F. Would like to have a little more horsepower but he has this one on the lot and has offered me a (deal?) if I act before the end of the year. It has a front end loader and hydro. drive. I have a 231 MF 97 model with 1200 hours on it, no loader. I can trade my tractor plus 6500 for the 1429. How does this sound? It also has a Isuzu engine which I don't know anything about or how to spell it. Any advice on this engine.

Isuzu has an excellent reputation. They power a lot of equipment. Probably a Google search would turn up lots on them. I think they partnered with General Motors on the newest GM Diesel for pickups.

i have an Isuzu truck ,they make great engines i believe they are one of the biggest engine manufactures in the world
