Max flo vs. stihl hd

Believe it or not..the last one i bought at a stihl dealer was 22 bucks..dont ask me how , and thats all they should be everywhere

At $22 I would have several and swap out. At $40 they're not that cost effective when a max flow extra filter is $14. I buy most of my saws as projects so if I need air filters or covers I just get max flow for stihls.

I have the HD2 on my 460. Granted I only cut firewood. Best part is I can clean it in about 20seconds.

If i go **** around with my buddies and cut some cookies and little firewood i agree , compressed air cleans them just fine

I have also never seen a speck of debris on the butterfly in the carb or any other part. I find the top of the HD2 dose full with chips a little quick. Never noticed a change in tune or performance
