My Dad gave me this saw a few years back and it’s just sat in the garage and barn. I cleaned the varnish from the gas tank and cleaned the carb (didn’t even take it off the saw) and cleaned the saw up. This little thing screams and cuts great! 20+ years dormant and the blade was still sharp.
Guess it’s more sentimental for me than anything and he was thrilled to see it running.
Does anyone know much about these? Very little info found online.

It’s kind of a cool little reed valve design. I wanted one for a while but never ran into one, and have enough saws in that size.

Nothing in common with the 3818.
