I apologize in advance for not writing much in commentary. Please add names and actions as you feel necessary. This is just a small cross section of the saws and people present. Some were good at hiding from the camera....and some got lost and had to stop at the bar for directions.

Woodyman waiting patiently for Thor to finish a cut.

As some knew, two Oregon reps flew in from Oregon to get input on the power sharp system. They had a demo and some members run the system. Maybe the jury is still out but one thing is for sure, the reps can take a lot of %$^! LOL

Nice saws Wendell. I can't wait to see them. Pics don't look as bad as you described? Dam those Macs are growing on me!!!

Have fun, shouldn't be hard. :msp_biggrin:

Just got back and got in from cleaning up all the saws.

Yeah, Marty, I think the saws are a little better than I had at first thought but they all need some (read a lot of) work.

You guys have a gtg every weekend. Man I wish I was closer to ya'll.

Could always fly into Grantsburg International

This morning a very generous individual had a charity cut. He does this annually, and yield a large amount of wood for the needy. JD and WGP can elaborate on the details but all I can say is this man does a lot for his community.

Wendell, look on the bottom for a number stamped in the casting, the unidentified saws could be anything from a 1-41 to a 550, but more likely than not they will be 1-4x or 200 series of some sort.

Imagine that, you were right! The first mystery saw is either a 1-43 or 46 and the one once owned by a John Deere fan is another 250.

Thanks of course to JD and Jon for being such great hosts and it was great to see you all again.

It was the first time I have been to a GTG where the host wasn't there (JD got called into work Saturday morning). Fortunately the snow stopped around noon so he was able to make part of his GTG!

Man I wish I'd have gotten up there today, as it is I have more issues with women than the back room at the library has Sports Illustrateds.

Probably gonna be a Sally and drop the 5100 off at Boyds tomorrow for fuel lines. Just don't have time to fix it myself, and have some cutting of my own to do next weekend.

Longest of all the vids. Nothing scientific about the races but sure was fun.

That Treemonkey has some FAST saws!

Mitch has a bunch of videos he hasn't posted on his you tube channel. Here is one of my 7900 making a pretty respectable showing against Scott's "Magical" 064. On the last cut he said he was going through knots the whole cut.

Edit: not sure why the embed isn't working.

That 346 is quick and just light enough to run one handed

Would add that Treemonkeys 026 could have beat nearly every saw there

Mitch-thanks for the pics and the videos! Glad to see you, Steve and Russ have made it home safely! Thanks to all who participated in the Charity Cut. We really amazed Denny with the amount of work we got done in such a short amount of time!!
