downloadfile-2.jpeg I've had the parts to build this for awhile so I'm gonna take the time to do it. I've already started but I'll show you the progress so far. I started with this super nice MS440R with a toasted top end I got off of redoakman! Thank you!

20150313_155423.jpg I then started by taking 1.2mm off the sides of the base to narrow it to the same width as the 440 gasket. I then slotted the holes just a bit to allow the 460 bolt pattern to be the same as a 440.

20150313_155342.jpg 20150313_201517.jpg I then taped up the cases really good and removed the piston and bearing and converted my case bolts to m6!

20150314_074400.jpg I also cleareanced the flywheel side of the cases to clear the trans tunnels and I made my base gasket holes larger to accommodate the larger bolts.

I then bolted it on. With a gasket just lightly tightened it had .056 squish. No gasket was .036 squish and 104/121/72 are the numbers from the factory.

No I'll run a 24". I'm actually doing 2. Tractorsaw1 sent me a cylinder and his exhaust will be at 100. But his main bar will be a 20".

Cool! I run a Cannon 22" on mine . Good rpm and torque. Im interested to see them in wood. Good luck and build away:clap::happybanana:
Thank you! I wanted a tsumara for it but I can't find one in a .050 guage. So I'll get a sugi for it at soon as watsonr gets one in. Lol.

Well it's more to do with i run so many bars for husky, dolmar, stihl I want my chains to all interchange. Lol. I hate when I grab a .063 chain and head to the patch with a .050 guage bar. Grrrrr! :buttkick:
I agree. I stay .050 to keep it simple between saws plus I can grab a chain on the wall and break/spin and be in business for all them . I think I would prefer .063 over 28" for chain stability
