I've had the parts to build this for awhile so I'm gonna take the time to do it. I've already started but I'll show you the progress so far. I started with this super nice MS440R with a toasted top end I got off of redoakman! Thank you!
Then I got I got this super nice 046D cylinder, piston, and rings from mister cgraham1! Thank you buddy!
I then started by taking 1.2mm off the sides of the base to narrow it to the same width as the 440 gasket. I then slotted the holes just a bit to allow the 460 bolt pattern to be the same as a 440.
I then taped up the cases really good and removed the piston and bearing and converted my case bolts to m6!
I also cleareanced the flywheel side of the cases to clear the trans tunnels and I made my base gasket holes larger to accommodate the larger bolts.
I had to cleareance the clutch side fins a little bit. And i also drilled the bolt hole tunnels out to 8.5mm. Not a lot bigger but a little.
102/118 and where ever the intake lands. I'm trying to post a pic I have .055 without gasket till I free port. I will use all of that. I will take .035-.040 off squish band.
What bar? About 28"?

Well it's more to do with i run so many bars for husky, dolmar, stihl I want my chains to all interchange. Lol. I hate when I grab a .063 chain and head to the patch with a .050 guage bar. Grrrrr!
I agree. I stay .050 to keep it simple between saws plus I can grab a chain on the wall and break/spin and be in business for all them .
