Will the 2171 jug fit on a 670 or is a 272 the only upgrade that you can do ?

Very different base.....not worth the effort.

Get a 268 cylinder and intake and run a 266 piston in it.....A Jonservarna 668XP

They run REAL nice

The 2171 will not bolt up. The 272 will bolt up to the 670, but the intake block is different. The impulse set-up is not the same on the Husqvarna/Jonsered. The easiest way to do that swap is to get a 272 top end, intake and carb.

I did one of those years ago and it seems like I had to block the impulse line on the 670 where it comes out of the crank.
