What do you think the best and most reliable spider lift is? Easy Lift, CMC, Platform Basket, or Omme? Specifically tracked spider lift models in the 90'-100' height range.
I have heard good and bad things about all of them. In my area, CMC is the most common by far, but a couple companies use Omme. Don't know much about Platform Basket other than it's from the same dealer (Tracked Lifts out of PA) that sells Omme.
1. Which of these lifts is the most stable/least sway in the wind? I'm used to climbing, so if I get a lift, I'll have to adjust to it swaying. The time I rented a towable lift, it really swayed a lot.
2. Which of these lifts is the most and least reliable?

Big fan of the Platform Basket 89ft. https://www.trackedlifts.com/products/platform-basket-2714
It has auto-level and the boom sections move faster than any other models I've found. Sway is very minimal. Can fit through a backyard gate which has been huge.

I know folks who have and love their 90ft Omme too. https://www.trackedlifts.com/products/ommelift-2750
It's a bit wider, but if you don't need to get through gates often, it might be a good option for you. Drive speeds are fast on this one as far as spiders go.

Do you ever feel the 89' is too short, or is totally adequate? Around here, we have a decent number of 90-100' tall trees, and with a 100' tall tree, you're left dropping a 21' long top if the lift is parked 10' away from the trunk.

I haven't had many issues with it being too short. There's only been a time or two and we just had the crane lift a guy in for the top and then took care of the rest with the lift. Overall feel like the 89' takes care of us. It also has 50' of side reach so that gives us a lot of flexibility on set up.
