Cut up an large green Oak split that sheared off in a storm yesterday. The full chisel chain just flat blew through the wood. I had backed my truck up close and when I stopped cutting the entire bed/tailgate and the ground were covered w chain chips. Lots of 8-12" branches cut through in 3- 5 seconds. 18-20" 12+/- seconds.

My dad has a 290 and even though its not a favorite of these internet boards, I think its a good firewood saw.

The scene was a big mess, I did a lot of cutting at shoulder height or higher and tried to cut firewood from the ends of the branches to the trunk when I could, so I wouldn't be cutting on the ground and the mess of small/broken branches/leaves everywhere . This saw works great w the 20" bar for reaching out to cut w the end of the bar and light enough to extend my arms but still control it well.
