My MS200T has a flat spot just as you hit the throttle from idle. Like it's struggling for fuel, if you're quick enough and repeatedly hit the throttle you can pull the revs up but many times it dies in the ass.

If it conks out you have to choke it, fires, unchoke and away you go.

I've tried tuning this out but it's hopeless. The baffles out and it goes pretty hard.

Any suggestions???

There is an air leak between the carburator and intake boot where the pulse charge goes into the carburator. Ed found this. I have moddified several now and they run great. Join the crowd with bad running MS200T's ..

Also noticed flat spots on 200 that still have muffler screens installed. They clog and cause problems. If you still have muffler screen, check it. Good luck.

Flat spots are easily fixed just park the saw under the wheels of an 18 wheeler and presto your problems will be over and finished.
