Hi everyone it’s been a long time and a long story anyway I’m back to stay this time and I am currently building my first MS200T it’s pretty much an all stock build other than a muffler mod. I am using all OEM parts and I have Basically only have 3 questions:

1. What crankshaft seals do you recommend? And why?

A.The original Bakelite MS200T seals part # 9640 003 1191

B.Aftermarket rubber/metal replacements

C.The 020 rubber/metal seal also used on one side of the 026/036 part# 9640 003 1190

2. If you do recommend option B or C which way is it installed? In the 020 manual it says to put it in “closed side facing the crankcase” (top and middle right picture below)Dose that mean that the side with the spring is out?

3. Is this the correct tuning process I have a tach and I have to depend on it pretty heavily because I am mostly deaf from an IED so hearing it start 4 strokeing is difficult I am using the Zama C1Q-S32 (part #1129-120-0650) which is the one that does not have the piston pump

Basic setting:
A. Turn both H & L all the way in and then back both out 1 turn
B. Ck air filter, bar tension fill with gas & bar oil, start & warm up
C. Use LA and set to 3600
D. Use L to find highest idle
E. Use LA and reset to 3600
F. Use L and set to 2800
G. Use H and set high speed to 14K (use short burst at high speed)

4. If it’s running good and accelerates good I stop here correct? If it’s not where do I go? The other process makes no sense to me it says:

A.back the H out to stop (talking about limiter) and then it has nothing else about the H.

Wouldn’t that be extremely rich?

B. Turn L in to stop then back out 1 full turn

Wouldn’t that undo everything I just did with the tach?

Here it is in the MS200T service manual maybe I just need someone to dumb it down for me LOL
