Can anyone recommend a good rebuilder for the MS200T? Is Ed Heard around any more? I'd prefer someone on the East Coast but will ship further if necessary.

Race build, port up or NOS stock rebuild ?

what's wrong with it?

What have you tried to do with it( repair wise) ?

what will you do with with once "rebuilt" ?

Maybe some light porting and MM work. The Stihler says it needs bearings and seals as well as a new fuel line but I'm a little skeptical. Either way I don't have the time right now so I'd like to find someone that knows these saws to get it running good again and open up the saw a little in the process. Any suggestions?

If it needs bearings, it might be too far gone, they are not a normal sealed bearing like most saws. You might be better off buying a new saw, or a better used one.

Yea, right? :D

Lookin' good! MS200T's and 020T's are well worth rebuilding...

I rebuilt 4 so far of 'junk' that a fellow arborist tossed ..

I insisted on having them before I really knew anything concrete about them, and now I know MUCHO! LOL :p

Now I got sentimental after what I went through with them.. ha haa...
