Yup

Bar is Stihl PN 3005 000 4817. 3/8 Picco, .050 X 61 dl.

My dealer does not stock this set up as there is little demand, but can usually get it in 3 to 5 business days depending on where he is in his order cycle. He stocks rolls of 63PS, with the exception of the 50 dl that he buys prepackaged, a

I just got this set up salvaged from a MS250 someone here had. I'll see how she does shortly.

Used the thing all day yesterday. Very impressive lil set up. Great for carving, too. I left this little gem out in the woods of Ireland for all to behold.

Considering an 024 & 025 will run an 18" bar in .325, the 241 sure should. However a 16" would be better.

The Stihl 18" bar is actually 16.5" at 61 DL. Having said that, it does seem to be as long as the 17" bar on my 241 that I modified from Husqvarna(70DL 325). I'll measure them when I get around to it. I'll also put up a pic in a bit. On my ported 241, the only time I feel the length is when I am stumping hardwoods over 16" or so. I am using a rim sprocket I got off a 250, so my guess is it's a 6 pin or sum such. Loads of torque.

60dl 3/8 and 66dl 325 is common when you swap tips on the same bar.
66dl-68dl covers what are called 16" 325 bars.

Been running the picco for the length. It's a 6 pin sprocket, so loads of torque. The picco doesn't last nearly as long as pixel/NK or standard 325, though. So, not the best for dirty work. But with low rakers and a 6 pin, the ported 241 now has that lil giggity-giggity sound ported saws make when the wood is hard or pinches.

I've had a 241cm. Nice saw. Expensive saw. If you can get 10 more CCs out of a 550xp for the same cost and weight- it's a no brainer.:D

I know this is an old topic, but when I see bad advice, I can't resist. A 241 weighs 9.9 lbs and I paid $440 + tax for mine. A 550xp weighs 10.8 lbs, which is the same as a MS261C-M (which is a better saw anyway). Plus a 550xp costs close to $599.

$539 here so I'd say you got a very good price. Not everyone will be able to get as good a price as you;)

I've found offering cash can get 8-10% off depending on the pro model
