I just bought a used 066 from a local saw mechanic. He replaced the piston, chain brake, and clutch and I put a 28" bar on and filed the chain nice and sharp.
But the saw didn't cut quite right. It didn't glide through the wood like it should. Mainly it would bite into the wood and stop the chain cold. I thought maybe the drags are too low, but I use a depth gauge.
Could it be the clutch thats causing this and not the drags?
