I’m in the planning stage of building a wood splitter. I ‘ve got a 20hp kolher engine. So, I planned on using a 28 gpm 2 stage pump.Hydraulic log splitter 2 stage pump
And using BIG SHAFT 24" STROKE Pin Size 1 1/4 " 3000 psi Tie Rod 30 Ton 5"x 24" x 2.250" Shaft
I’m a blacksmith by trade and I’m not a hydraulic person. So I come to this forum with a question on spool values. What size would I need? I’ve looked at different values on the internet but I can’t seem to find a control value that is rated 28gpm. Would someone point me in the right direction?
