I picked up a new firewood hauler last Wednesday. It is a surplus M101A3 3/4 ton trailer. It has a 3/4 ton off-road rating and a 1 1/2 ton on road rating. The box is 96" long and 53" between the wheel wells. It has a hydraulic surge brake and you don't even know it's behind the truck on the highway.

The trailer had brand new tires, brakes including drums and the fluid in the brake master was so clean I could see the bottom of the reservoir. It looks like it went through a major service before I got it. I also have side boards, bows and the canvas that goes over the top. I am ready to put it to work!
