"New" Maine Fall GTG Thread

This how it turned out (so far).....poured out the old gas...poured in the new.....four pulls and away she went.....ran perfect...idled perfect..may need to turn up the oil a click or two. This saw is in excellent condition......stunning P&C....normal 6XX wear points show hardly any use....and it runs..well just like a Super....
It's nice to have a "Normal" 630 back in the lineup......missed my Super II.....but not so much now!!!

Just a couple more. The first shows the airfilter cover.....the one on the right is an unused NOS cover...note the alum hold down screws..these wear fairly quickly from cleaning the air filter, etc...screwdriver slots get very sloppy....note the Super cover screws....not much wear for a 19 yr old saw...had a new flocked airfilter too.


The second, though out of focus shows the lack of burnt on oil/pitch typical of a well used saw...not even any burnt on stuff around the EX port...

That's how it stands now.....I am very pleased with this saw....Thanks again Pete!!!! Sorry again about the crappy photos..usually do better..

Hey, that Super is much nicer than I thought and I believe I want it back! Kidding of course! I'm glad you're happy with it, I never get around to the projects I want to do most.

Yep she cleaned up good and runs even better!!!! It is snuggled up next the the "West Coast".....LOL!!
