Looks like they were dominated by that lone Jonsered! :msp_biggrin:

And a big thanks to MossMan's fam for helping out with the setting up and taking down of all the food! You guys are awesome and very nice. Those hybrid brownies were delish, I can't place exactly what was in there, either some peanut butter or caramel or both! I was too busy chowing to try to analyze them :D

I'll second that. While I couldn't make it this time, I appreciate you opening your property up for a get together.

OOOOHHHHHH I like the sound of that little guy so much I going to listen to it all afternoon..........out in the woods that is......spitting snow here....good day to make firewood out of dry trees....

Well I lied......I didn't start outthe 49SP this afternoon......seemed real cold.....and I found myself using the 521EV and really liking the heated handles!!!!! Ran 2 full tanks through it cutting up maple tops into cookstove wood...I guess I finally got it straightened out as it ran and started perfectly...

Thanks TK and Pete for the pics and vids......I didn't remember my camera so I'm glad you guys got that covered.....

It was freezing today! I though Sunday was cold. I needed a xpg saw, or an ev :D

I just wanted to take a minute to thanK all of you that showed, participated and contributed to the GTG fund. This was a real good time even though the head count was drastically less than last year. Darned Sandy. My hope would be to have it earlier next year if it comes right for the majority of people. My aim, for myself at least, will be to hit a GTG in New York next year, I'd like to meet spike60 and see Jack, woodchucker and the whole New York crowd. I liked having a Husqvarna dealer and a Dolmar dealer on hand, I think if the crowd was bigger there would have been some more sales from that.. If time wasn't such an issue, I would have a line up of used saws and gear out on a table for sale myself. I was quite pleased how the log loader/trailer helped with placing cookie logs, I would hope to have some larger diameter logs next year to tax the larger saws a little more. I really enjoyed the saws that people ran and handed over to anyone that wanted to try them, two that stick out for me are TK's Husky 136, the nasty little ripper, and Cantdog's "West Coast" Jonsered 630 Super.....that thing is kool as hell!

Again, thank you for the compliments and the thank yous and I look forward to doing it all again next year......even more efficiently as I already have some ideas rolling through the empty halls they call my head.

On a side note, I did end up walking away from this GTG with a brand spanking new Husky 550XP thanx to a trade that TK and I hammered out, thank you TK.

Got some pics here not of the GTG but is related. Pete and I struck a deal on an old saw he had kicking around while at the GTG. I got mauled by a 24" maple Monday afternoon.....not bad...but got flung about 10' in the air to land in a rock pile...I was using the 521EV but the saw was off....no blood..but wrenched my left knee pretty bad...made me walk funny...no wooding yesterday so I repaired a litttle 44 Husky and then tore into the 630 I got from Pete. Once the dirt was cleaned away there was a very low hr 630 Super....changed out a couple things...and got it running. Needed nothing but fresh gas really...no carb kit..no fuel line...whatever I added was my own idea and not out of necessity....

I used the saw all day today....ran beautiful....got to take the rakers down a bit...very eager saw!!!

Couple "before" pics....sorry they are pale...lot of light in the shop yesteday afternoon I guess..
