New to chainsaws need some info

I woukd take any o f those saws over the Chinese saw. Parts are available and cheap to fix. You won't be left wondering what bar will fit it and you'll have people on a chainsaw forum that can help you.

Call the local Home Depot tool rental department. Ask them to run a search for used "rental" chainsaws for sale. You might get lucky and find a used Makita (Dolmar) 6421 for $250 to $320. Good little saws. Or the Echo CS-490 is a nice little saw for under $350 -- Also at Home Depot.
