I was looking at the local farm equipment store today and found these splitters on the dealers lot. The price was $1200.00 for either the 3 point hitch model or the gas engine model. They operate different in that the will split both ways. I never seen ones like this before and they look like they would save time because you can split both ways. The gas model did look a little under powered and I don't know about the 3 point one because I have no experience using one.

Any Thoughts?

I saw one similar to that as a Case/Ingersoll garden tractor attachment. Those tractors used remote hydraulic points to power lots of different things. I assume the splitter was there own make. It was on Ebay, and was advertised as "fastest splitter" or some such $hit. That one said RENT ME on the side.....rent it and tell us how it worked!!!
