Just bought a new saw. Very happy with the .325 LPX, but I could do without the bumper link. Is there talk of Oregon coming out with a new chain like LPX without that bumper link?

Like to stock up on chain, but if there is something new and better on the horizon, I'll wait..

Have you tried a .325 Husq. Xcut yet? Might be worth it, they cut very well. I bought 4 so far, used them all during our storm cleanup efforts. I hand file them and they come back to a really nice edge/hook.

Check out Oregon catalog. That is what is available. LPX and BPX don't have the traditional bumper link tie strap, just the overlapping depth gauge arrangement.
