My second Craftsman 3.3 timing advance in progress.
I liked the first well enough to do the 2nd one!
Oregon rim drive & MM.
Thinking about trying a 24" bar with skip chain .325 .50 chain made for this one.

My other modded one ran a 18" bar full comp .325 like A BOSS!

Figure worst case becomes a parts saw or a project for someone else. Poulan 245.
No coil wire I can see. Muffler repaired.
But have a 306 parts saw here too.

Messed the muffler washer fix pic up they had did.

I has a big one but the only place he gets is a corner. About 15 x 15 ft.

Picked up another new project. Poulan S6000. She fires off prime so should only need a basic cleaning and going through. Should compliment my 5500 nicely that I just completed.

The silver part in my pic will move and contact the black piece to open. Black piece missing but that just get pushed open by sliver rod in front.

Appreciate the offer Redneck. Found the front plate and the rubber tube fairly cheap online so ordered them up.

A little jealous. Not that I need it because I don't, but I'd love to have a big brother for my CV 3700. My 3700 with a 20" bar is all I need, but everybody needs a bigger/older sibling.

Currently cutting a rather large pile of logs at the moment. A good 4 hours on the 4000 yesterday.

That pile was twice as big. 95 percent on the 4000 but I did jump on the 395 for a big log and well why not

Just a joy to use this thing absolutely love it

Wildman, that's a nice score! Was your 6000 on eBay? If so, did you receive an extra drive cover for it? I have a question: was your handle originally a full wrap that someone cut down and put a plug in? I imagine a full wrap would be difficult to find these days. Keep us posted on your progress. Definitely a worthy project. A 3700 apparently runs just as well.
My green 4000 is a converted 3400 the whole lot too even the choke handle. Still running the 3400 starter but the better 1 is there just being kind to the 3400 style for now
