Just removed 5 Leyland Cypress trees which were right on top of 2 Norway Spruce trees. The Norways appear to be 25-30 years old.

No visible damage other than dead limbs which weren't receiving sunlight. I have labeled the pictures Spruce 1 and Spruce 2, respectively.

Appreciate any feedback

Thanks

I wouldn't worry too much about it, but nearly all spruce have some level of Rhizosphaera Needlecast, which causes the needles to turn brown and eventual defoliation, and then death due to secondary co-infections. The only treatment, however, is spraying the tree top to bottom with fungicide 2-3 times per year. Blue spruce gets it worse than Norway spruce, so it's not as bad in Norway spruce.
