Looks like ole Rope is pulling our leg a bit....time for ole Rope to fess up...unless he's running a Stihl of course and ashamed to admit it....:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:

Don't know about all that but I do know this, ole Rope should be a millionaire. Around here the going rate for a arborsit is 225.00 a hour running a saw. 4000 times 225.00 comes out to $900,000 big ones. To hell with the saw I wanna see Rope's custom made Caddy,LOLOLOLOL

If rope is insured, thats where most of that $ probably goes. And then fuel bill for the trucks, upkeep, tires, saws/gas/oil/bar oil.

Doesnt take long to spend the money you make

Tom I doubt the port had anything to do with this maybe leaking case or the impluse line let junk in I will post pics of the piston and cylinder so you guys can help determine

Was messing with ya Rope. Far as a leaking pulse hose or case goes those rpms would have went sky high if either was the problem. High rpm scoring is usually pretty severe. Was she screaming to high heaven before she took the trip? I personally think that low to the ground stump cut did her in. She sure isn't the first to meet her doom at the stump, alot of saws regardless of age or hours meet their fate that way.

Now lets see that custom Caddy you got from all the money that saw made for you. Don't lie and say you don't have one stashed in the back of the barn, lets have a look see,:Eye::Eye:

It'd be pretty funny if you opened the box and there was a 441 inside....

It is nice to see a man that uses tools and gets all the wear out of them.
To last 8 years of day in and day out hard use is amazing.
True I might be biased as I am drinking the ORANGE koolaid.

Saw Dr. you are a nice guy, but no that would not be funny

Rope wants a HUSKY, a man's saw.

That's good the old one might not be in that bad of shape after all. A new one will be nice anyway.

Yup I will test the case before working it but it runs and idles fine. The new one may not get fuel in it for a while lol, it is going to be my ace in the hole! My other 372 is still going strong so after case test or just new seals just for the heck of it my old dog will still hunt lol.

Likely when I decide to get rid of them they will be worthless lol used up!

Oh I plan to clean up the transfer on the ported cylinder and get a new meteor piston as I really loved the power it had!
It really was minimal I believe a little acid and elbo grease be good as new.
