It has an adjustable oiler so if you are running a short bar, you should set it to minimum output.

yeah, way too much but at least it works well, unlike some other brands. will probably go to a 24" bar.

24" bar with the Stihl RS chain. Have one on my p-40, nice combo.

Now you have a good one. I bought mine new when Pioneer was clearing out their inventory, still use it today and have a 24" bar if needed. Wish it had a full wrap handle.
Now you need a few more.

nice collection. I saw a used full wrap handle on ebay but it was 45 bucks. said it was for P series.

You can run the 28" in semi chisel fine on the P41 , I have for years . I actually run a 36" Carelton semi skip on my P51 in large White & Red pine , no oiling issues in either case although I always run winter grade bar oil !

finally received my 28" facebook marketplace Windsor bar for the P41. have googled al the numbers on the bar but I need to order a chain and I can't find the number of links I need. it's 28", 3/8 pitch and .058 gauge. how do I figure this out?
