It all depends on what you want or need in a saw, are you collecting or will use for home use or commercial? ( Go get a good stihl for commercial cutting ) What is the condition of the saw, any pic's? Generally Pioneer made very good saws they have lasted 30+ yrs and many are still going strong, the biggest issue is finding the parts to restore a Pioneer saw. Generally check to make sure all parts are accounted for, check for outward signs of damage cracks etc.. Paint wear is normal in any old saw and it can be redone. If you can, check for spark and compression, take a flashlight and look into gas tank looking for any gumming of old gas it will give you some ideas of which parts you'll need to change such as, fuel lines, filter and carb kit etc..., check for trigger operation and pull cord operation etc.. As for price? How much do you want it? Generally Pioneers in running order go for between $15usd and upwards of $160usd ( recently a P28 on e-bay ). Good luck on whatever you decide.
