Piston ring challenge

I am trying to find thin (0.024" or 0.615 mm) piston rings to fit a 2.06" or 52.3 mm bore. The bore is chrome plated and I have heard the rings described as being "tool steel" but I don't know anything more than that.

Does anyone out there know of a similar size piston ring that I could substitute?

Pins or no pins?

The pistons have locating pins, I believe they are around .043" diameter but it is hard to get in there for an accurate measurement.

According to my search, Homelite SXL-925 rings are the correct diameter/height, and here is a link to the cheapest ebay listing that has more than one ring in stock.

You definitely want tool steel rings for a chrome plated bore and chrome-infused rings for an iron-liner bore if you can get them.
