The intake on the carb is even the same diameter. Is the only difference on these saws the piston diameter?

Joined May 11, 2012 Messages 9,357 Reaction score 12,302 Location Ohio Mar 29, 2019 #23 carb and intake boots same. 3500 cylinder is different bolt pattern too. 3500 60cc but there is a 54cc cyl that fits that case too. 3300 smaller cyl bolt pattern 54cc big as it goes stock on that case. Alot of the parts will swap when needed though.

I was going through organizing boxes I had packed up from my Dad a few years ago and lo and behold a piston and cylinder for the 3300. Does anyone know what the break-in procedure is if there is one?
