Seeking a Poulan 4200/Dayton 4z252/Craftsman 5.2 for sale ...:help:
Here is my kind of Poulan.
This one is ugly but the 8500 is as close to Poulan perfection as one can achieve, unless you have the luck of the saw gods and can find a 6 cubic inch Poulan saw.
I have a 245A and a 306A that I bought new in the late seventies. Both lasted me til 08. If I could get parts for them I would rebuild.
Some more for you, Cliff:
Something like this one...?
Nice. Want to sell that B100?
This one is a keeper ... for someone. My second green saw in two weeks, the 99% metal 3400 Counter Vibe made in USA. But all those lime green ones are not-worth-a-dime junk right?

Nice collection Guido, looks like the green color doesn't bother you a bit!
I was just looking for this old thread I started a while ago and got to reading it. I am going to go on a search for 3400,4200,4900, 5200 5400, or an 8500 my question is if I could get any of these which is easy to get parts for and which one would you want to own?
