does anyone know what to going rate is per cord in upstate new york.......its hard wood split and delivered

Where in NY are you? Here in Ulster county the average seems to be $200. Sellers are pretty busy as people are really socking in wood for next year. Probable oil prices, combined with how long the heating season was this year are keeping things pretty active. Once we get into the heating season next fall, seasoned wood will likely be well over the $200 mark, if you can find it.

It ranges any where from 160 to 300 per cord delivered in albany county. I would say the average is around 240 for a legitimit cord.

Here in the Adirondacks the going price is $65. Cut split and delivered. (Supply exceeds demand.) I think $300 is ridiculous! If only I could find a way to ship cordwood to Albany cheaply.. Hehehe.
