I'm looking for a Remington PL4 or PL5 with a good engine.I don't mind simple repairs like new fuel line, recoil work, carb rebuild,or anything of that nature.I don't want a saw that needs crank seals or a complete rebuild.Bar & chain are not necessary.

If your into Remington's I've got a complete 65cc. I believe it's a SL11. I do not have any Power Lights left sorry. Thx. Tim G.

I really had my heart set on a PL series.I know they're an older version of the SLs.Your SL11 doesn't look to be in bad shape for it's age.How much are you looking to get for it?

Price would be reasonable. I believe it was auto with a manual boost plunger. I could check it out over the weekend if it interests you

If it's an automatic oiler then I wouldn't be interested.I've got a couple SL9As that the duck bill has gone bad & the entire saw has to be torn down to replace them.

That's funny I woke up yesterday morning with Remington fever. I just want a super loud saw. And been on eBay and here looking for a cure. I'm torn between a pl4 and a sl 11. Let me know how you make out. Just looking for a runner to buck a few logs old school style. Good thing is I found 1 of each. Decisions Decisions. Still looking for a super 75A too that was a super loud saw

That must be an old post of mine.I've got about 3 PL4s now & 2 PL5s.The PL$s are great runners, but the PL5s are another story.I tore them down back in the winter/spring & waited for a cylinder to show up.I ended up with 2 of 'em.Then I went for the rebuild, what a joke.I had more compression - 60 psi, than after I put it together - 0 psi.

Yea its an old post  but was scrounging the site for info to decide on a saw. Pl4 or sl11. One is eBay 1 is a fellow member here. Just wanted a real loud saw. I run echos and Mac 610/650s

I got one. It wouldn't start so of course I checked for spark. And notta so I tested the coil today with a multimeter. And nuthin. I plan on getting one for it. So I can sell as a running saw. But I might sell it like it is. But I ain't giving it away. Just over a coil [email protected]. If your interested

I'm actually looking for a good PL5.I have a couple of good PL4s & SL4s.Which one do you have & how much are you asking?
I probably have one if you are seriously interested. Lately it seems a few folks say they want items but then do not in the end

Well any I have would be ones that have sat on shelves for 10 years or much longer.
Any gear drives? That's the one style I don't have yet. I managed to find a anteater super 770 but the elusive 880 and 990 still escape me. So far I have pl4 pl5 pl7a super 660 754 and 770. And a jd18/sl4a
