I searched but couldn't find an answer. I'm replacing the quick chain adjuster with the regular side adjuster parts. There is an insert, part #1123 021 2800, that covers the area where the replacement parts fit into.

How do you remove the insert?

Thanks

Started in Idaho, ended up in Virginia!
Got it. I went in from the top and pried it out from the backside. It is mighty tight and I wanted to be sure not to crack that casing.

Many thanks!

Yep, whichever way it comes out works. Did this to a 250 last week, that little wheel gear thing-a-ma-jig is $80. Had a new cover, bar, and chain with adjuster for $73
