The workers finished the rock around the wood burning stove today. It turned out beautiful Check it out!
Before you guys start on me about the stove pipe, I have ordered an insulated one, and it should be installed before fire season. :notrolls2:
Looks good. You might think about a magic heat on the stove pipe. About 1/4 of the heat I circulate throughout the 3200 sq ft house is generated from it. I also think it reduces by chimney pipe temps a significant amount.
I realize the pipe doesn't have to be insulated. However, we just paid to have the mantle installed above the rock. I don't want the heat to dry it out, so insulated pipe to help.
I did some reading on the magic heat and it said it could only be used on single wall pipe. Do you know of anything that I can use on my double walled pipe?
