I love that 346xp with the sugi bar. Is that one also woods ported? I will be interested in your opinion when you start cutting firewood because I am on the fence with those 2 saws.

Don't be "on the fence", you need to put your hands on one and run it. Then you won't be "on the fence" anymore!!!!

Here's it's redheaded brother.....keep in mind, this is 20" oak

I can't get your vid to work.Anyone else have a problem getting the vid going?

press the play button in the lower left corner....
Thought it was the one in the top left. That saw does a fine job of getting through that oak.I almost got one of those with there drag and bag sale but went with the 346.I could have traded in my 141 I got $6.00 into for a 2171 and paid $700.00 but now I have an $850.00 346 with no warranty and an unlimited coil.

Time to laugh but I was expecting better things from the 350T echo. It has the most badly operable brake and terrible side cover system on any modern saw I have come across and the on off choke switch stinks. Once its properly tuned in runs pretty good, but it feels like your going to break the sidecover trying to get it off and the brake is as smooth as 2 T34 tanks mating.
Its our palm and fern saw.

hmm here is a tid bit i found

GM reported a net loss of $39 billion (including Allison Transmission, which is classified as a discontinued operation),

Did you go to the link above? The Allison is the only tranny you can get with the Duramax.

they discontinued and restarted it in one year:dizzy:

Lets see, GM filled for bankruptcy...They have done alot in the last year...

GM sold Allison Transmission in 2007 to a partnership between the Carlyle Group and Onex corporation...

Pulling is nothing more than how you get the power to the ground, you can have 700 hp and get out pulled by a 60 hp tractor.

When I got out of HS that used to be popular, A good friend of mine bought a new 95' ext.cab Chevy 3/4 ton with a 350. It was the most gutless POS you could imagine, it's balls must have fell off at teh factory floor, but anyhow it was a pulling machine, everyone he hooked to would start spinning and wheel hopping and get pulled backwards, his truck had enough power to keep the wheels in a foward motion. He thought it was bas as hell, until you hooked a real trailer to it and started down the highway at 70 mph. It really showed what a joke of a truck it was.:)

exactly! HP and torque don't mean jack frikin squat without gearing and traction.

346XP and the 359 are denoted with a "fuel pump" in the book my dealer gave me....Could this be why they respond so well to modding? No other saw was indicated as having a fuel pump.

I don't know much about small engines so I'm just askin here...

850.00 for a 50cc saw..............Spendy...........

.

Spendy!!!! Yeah that is spendy:greenchainsaw:

I got 300.00 bucks in the saw and it was already woods ported! I think I bought the saw for what a woods port costs
