I got a chance to run a recent e-bay find on some small wood.
I’ve got lots of Shindaiwa saws but over the years I have probably used a 500 more than any of the others.
A bit heavy but it sure runs well and these are well built.

Since you’re the Shinny guru, what do you think of the 377. I just picked one up, really clean, haven’t put it in wood yet. Thinking of flipping it, can’t stand that front tensioning adjustment.

I think the 377 is a good little limbing saw. Most of the time I prefer to use a smaller saw for cleaning up after I get the tree on the ground. Also useful when I am burning brush.
I prefer the 377 over the 360 because it has two bar mounting studs, even though I’ve never had an issue with the single stud on the 360.
