shrub netting?

Hello all,

Is it OK to put netting on shrubs during the fall season? I was thinking this would prevent falling leaves from getting into the insides of the shrub. I am not sure whether this will hurt the shrubs in anyway. My shrubs are yew, witch hazel and azaleas.

If so, what sort netting can I use and where can I get them?

Never seen that. May increase the chance of snowload damage.
