I was cutting today, and the chain was working its way a little loose and ended up coming off. there are two drive links that are tweaked just enough to not fit into the bar and go all the way down. Would yall chuck this chain in the scrap bin or try to massage those two links? it is a almost new chain so I am kinda hesitant to chuck it yet. It is oregon 72lgx 93dl chain.

Thanks!

I will do, I was just worried about extra wear on a $70 bar from a $17 chain.

Thanks!! I will just make sure it sits nice and moves easy

yup, hammer it if needed and file it smooth and make sure it runs in the groove and you're good to go. Probably won't be the last time....

I typically just squeeze it in the vise and bend it back into place, slip it back onto the bar and see if its rubbing or not. If it is still catching/rubbing as it slides along the bar, pull it off and repeat the process till its right
