So what's everyone using for snow removal? I've been using a Kubota B2710 with a rear blade, but thinking about getting a V-plow for the LS-170 and chaining her up instead...maybe even buy a small wheel loader...

Here's my snow removal steed, Massey Ferguson 180. Got an appointment with it again in the morning, still got some cleanup left from Sun/Mon snow.

I run a 9' plow on the front of a 97 Dodge 1 ton, 8' snow bucket on the NH L175 and use the Ditch Witch SK500 once in a while.

I was running a JD 2520 compact tractor with a loader and 64" blower on the back for most of this winter and it worked great, but the Skid Steer it a lot faster!

I am using a M9000 kubota with a backblade and FEL. But I am getting tired of backing over my snow so I can push it up in a pile.

Thats a nice big Kubota!

I have a friend with a 60" snow blower for sale that would fit my Kubota, I just think a snow blower might be too slow...?

nice set up cowboy billy

I got 1 season on a Snow Dog and like it but wish I got more work. Lots of plows around here.

We also use our 525 tx Dingo with biggest bucket. Real happy with set up but hate to get salt on my beloved Dingo

plowing

I plow with a NH 55da. I checked out costs for blowers for this tractor...which would be great, but expensive. My tractor has a bobcat style attachment on the FEL. I purchased an old western 6ft plow blade (for $50) and welded that to a bobcat mounting plate (about $150). I have to manually swivel the blade, which requires getting off the tractor each time. The good news is my out of pocket cost was about $200. I like the blade in front of the tractor as opposed to a back blade. Just one mans solution.

At the house. 1967 Cub Cadet 123 with front blower. on the farm, Gehl 7800 skid steer, two speed w/ turbo. looked into a rear mount blower for a tractor but too expensive. If your plowing (rear or front blade) as long as you got the snow far enough away the first time. should be no problems there after. Just a ##### moving a mountain of snow, come mid januaray with no cab because the noobie didnt' do it right from the start.
