Stihl 044 build/questions

She's alive! My friend was running a .325 b/c on the 3/8 sprocket so I'm gonna get a new sprocket before I run it more/tune carb. It sounds really good though. I'll be kinda sad to give it back lol

What is this and where does it go? I think it has to do with the chain brake. I found it in the parts box. Only thing left

Looks like the bushing that goes in the left side of the chainbrake handle.
Kinda big though

That's what I thought at first but it won't fit. I'm sure I could force it in but of it went in that hard I don't see why it would fall out. The fastener on that side of the handle has the little dish with it.

I've built 5 or 6 044's and I can honestly say I don't really recognize that

Hmm it's quite possible that it's from something else. Everything seems to work properly. I'll keep somewhere safe. That's what i get for taking it apart in April and letting it sit so long lol

Last bits are on. Got the carb adjusted so it would run/idle and will run it some wood tomorrow for final adjustments and to make sure everything works properly. Then it goes back to my buddy.

Ahhhhh, the elusive muffler bearing??? I don't know either. Will be tearing one down soon, will let u know if I find one in mine!!!
