Sold Stihl 046 - fresh!

Stihl 046 - $750 + ship

Just rebuilt Stihl 046. Everything was taken apart and cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner. Crankcase was powder coated by O*pee member @Glock37 . Any broken/worn parts were replaced.

The bottom end has new gaskets, bearings and seals. The cylinder/piston was cleaned up, and new rings added. Piston has some scratches present

Lots of new parts. Feel free to ask questions here or via PM. I’ve documented the parts used and have other detailed pictures. Cheers!

Possibly interested as I have a need for a 70cc saw for occasional big bar use. Like 28”. This saw fit the bill?

I have a few questions, because I know these will be sent to ask me.
Are the replacement parts Stihl or knock-offs'?
How bad are the piston scratches and do you have pictures of that?
What did the cylinder look like?

I used Stihl parts with the exception of the left AV rubber and the front muffler screen/bracket.

The cylinder was in great shape, no transfer. I cleaned it up with a scotch pad. See the pic for the piston condition.

This came to me as a running saw that needed a good overhaul.
