I recently purchased what I am thinking is a Stihl 08 but every 08 that I have seen has a steel muffler. My saw has a cast aluminum muffler which by the way is in perfect shape. there are no markinngs on the saw saying that it is in fact a stihl 08 I just assumed that it was, does anyone else have an 08 with this muffler on it.
