Are there any stihl dealers that have a 084/088/880 helper handle in stock? Or are there any members who have one they would want to sell or trade? I would like to have one and my dealer says the are no longer avaliable.

Thanks Moose

whats a helper handle , all i can think of is the big D handle for the starter :msp_unsure:

Really...I think I would like the option of the extra handle that attaches to it. I really would like to find one.

FWIW, the Stihl helper handle or idiot stick as I call them, require a hardnose bar.
There is also a guard bar that goes above the chain to protect the person on the other end if the chain comes off or breaks, a bracket is needed to fasten it to the powerhead.

Measure twice, drill once. :D

Have drilled for Granberg and got too close to the sprocket tooth and had to file em down a bit. :buttkick:
Shoulda used a compass .

This pic is a Cannon bar drilled for Granberg.
