Stihl helper handle

Are there any stihl dealers that have a 084/088/880 helper handle in stock? Or are there any members who have one they would want to sell or trade? I would like to have one and my dealer says the are no longer avaliable.

Those haven't been available in north America for years and are pretty hard to come by. They were most popular in south America and Africa.

Really...I think I would like the option of the extra handle that attaches to it. I really would like to find one.

yes grandberg does make one. i have one for my 66inch bar for my big mill. good heavy duty quality

theres the with and without roller. deepends if you have double ended bar or sprocket nose

FWIW, the Stihl helper handle or idiot stick as I call them, require a hardnose bar.
There is also a guard bar that goes above the chain to protect the person on the other end if the chain comes off or breaks, a bracket is needed to fasten it to the powerhead.

Measure twice, drill once.

Have drilled for Granberg and got too close to the sprocket tooth and had to file em down a bit.
Shoulda used a compass .
