Stihl light guide bars

Tsumura Light & Tough is hard to beat. Always came up #1 in my tests.

Usually cost about the same as a Stihl Light, but the Canadian dollar is way down right now so they are dirt cheap.

20" for $76 +sh can't go wrong. This is the bar I had on my 361. You wouldn't think 20" light makes a difference but it does.

28" $104 +sh you just can't go wrong. I have these on my 661's. Once you go light bar you don't want to use anything else.

36" light for $125 used to be like 189 IIRC ...until the Canadian currency took a dump. When the getting is good...

28" Stihl Light guide bar for my 461R is $169.99 + tax.

The store owner is into firearms and I have some accessories he'd love to have.

I'm gonna let him sleep on a possible trade for a few days.............

How often do you use that saw? This will help decide if you need or not.

I've been making some calls and came up with a good lead on one.

Dealer said that it was $139.99, but that if I was serious, it'd be worth my time to come see him and he'd talk price.

light bars make cutting like 5x more enjoyable...actually almost fun. If I was stuck using a heavy bar on the 661's I probably wouldn't use them much at all...or own them. But the light bar changes everything and thus they are the only saw I care to own anymore. Light bars are that awesome.

Nice analysis you did there. Lot of work went into all that. No doubt they are better.

My partner folded his last month so we cut it to see what was inside. Hollow. Dang stihl. Probably cheaper for them to produce then the solid bars but they charge more.
One thing about running light bars is you are twice as pissed off when you wreck them lol this one was only a few days old.

A 28" es light is tits on a 461.

It’s also tits on a 661. It’s an amazing combo
